You can check the payment amount limits in your project by using Dashboard. To check your payment amount limits, go to Dashboard, select the Projects section, and then click the Payment methods tab.
Payment scenario
In the Mobile Commerce in Africa payment method, purchase procedure follows one of the following scenarios:
- Scenario 1—the customer confirms the payment via USSD message which they receive from the provider service
- Scenario 2—the customer is redirected to the provider service where they make a purchase
- Scenario 3—the customer follows the payment instructions displayed on the checkout page or in your system (when performing the purchase by using Gate)
- Scenario 4—the customer uses a code the mobile network operator sends them to confirm the payment
Ask your key account manager at Monetix which of the scenarios is relevant to you.
When performing a payout, the customer initiates a payout and then just waits for the funds to be credited to their account. The customer themself doesn't participate in the payout processing procedure.
